Clinic Offers Free Confidential and Anonymous HIV Testing June 25th Are you positive you’re negative? St. Thomas Clinic announces free testing for HIV infection. Tests will be given at the clinic on Wednesday, June 25 from 9 am to noon. The clinic is located in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 600 Paul Hand Boulevard (County Road 400 North) just off US 31. An appointment is not necessary, and the test and results should take about 1 hour. These tests are done by taking a swab sample in the mouth and do not require blood to be drawn. Theater Creativity and Stage Combat Workshop

Putnam County Museum

The Putnam County Museum will kick off the summer with a series of one day summer workshops for children, teens, and adults. The first program will start on Thursday, June 26th. The title of the program is Theater Creativity and Stage Combat. This workshop, taught by Dr. Andrew M. Hayes, an associate professor of communications and theater at DePauw University, will give students the opportunity to learn a little about how actors train to portray acts of violence on stage and in film without harm to themselves or their partners. Through a controlled exercise, students will learn how to think creatively about objects used for violence, and through lecture and demonstration they will learn how actors become sword fighters. The workshop will run from 1p.m. until 2:30p.m., and the age restrictions are 12-18 years old. The class size can accommodate up to 15 students, and pre-registration is required.
